Spring works will be financed for a year in advance

This was reported by Vice-Minister of Agriculture Zhenis Osserbai at the meeting on identifying intermediary schemes in the sale of staple foods, reports World of NAN.

The representative of the Ministry of Agriculture noted that special attention is paid to financing farmers, producers of socially important food products.

"Forward funding of farmers for spring field works for the subsequent supply of vegetables to the Stabilization Funds will be carried out for the year ahead. In 2023, funds will be allocated by January 10 for the early harvest and by February 1 for the fall harvest in 2023. In subsequent years - by August 1 for the early harvest and September 1 for the autumn harvest of the next year. This mechanism has already been approved", - Zhenis Oserbai informed.

The process of implementation of new approaches to finance sugar refineries in the framework of the "revolving scheme" was discussed at the meeting. To date, loan agreements have been signed by 10 regions (plus three from last week) for a total of 10.8 billion tenge (7.664 billion last week). Almaty, Astana, Shymkent, Zhetysu, Mangistau, Aktobe, Almaty, Turkestan and Ulytau regions confirmed their readiness to sign similar agreements by the end of next week.
