Inside Russia, demand for grain is growing slower than supply

This is the assessment of the neighboring market given by analysts of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Also according to their data, Russia will increase grain exports this season, reports World of NAN.

In the current agricultural year, the country will export up to 51 million tons of grain, which is 3.5 - last year's figure. Of this, 11.36 million tons of feed grain.

The forecast for the collection of Russian wheat has been increased to 91 million tons. Corn harvest is estimated at 17 million tons, which can be explained by different weather conditions in different regions. At the same time, the U.S. Department of Agriculture lowered its estimate of feed grain production in Russia by 260 thousand tons or to 42.94 million because of a decline in domestic demand for it.
