South Korea is ready to provide smart farms to Kazakhstan

At the Kazakh-Korean business forum in Astana, the Korean president offered to provide Kazakhstan with technologies on the principle of "smart agricultural farms", World of NAN reports with reference to Akorda.

Kazakh President Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev said we are very interested in introducing South Korean innovative agro-technologies based on artificial intelligence.

"Kazakhstan traditionally has a strong agro-industrial complex. Our agricultural products are exported to more than 80 countries around the world," Tokayev emphasized.

According to him, Kazakhstan intends to transform and modernize the agro-industrial complex into a high-tech industry. Therefore, the government will work on introducing smart farms from Korea.

“I think this is a very good proposal. We are very interested in introducing South Korean innovations. Our farmers are especially in demand for the experience of building highly efficient smart greenhouses,” said the President of Kazakhstan.
