A capsule was laid for the plant of heat-insulating materials from sheep's wool

The laying of a capsule in the foundation of the future plant for the production of non-woven materials took place in Aktobe, reports World of NAN.

The agreement on creation of consortium on construction and launching of the plant between Akimat of the region, LLP KazFeltec and Italian company Cormatex which technologies will be used on production was signed in autumn of the last year.

The main products of the plant will be environmentally friendly thermal insulation materials. The raw material will be coarse sheep's wool, which has a limited demand due to the lack of enterprises for its processing. Until now, Aktobe farmers have mostly burned or thrown away such wool. This week the purchase of raw materials for the new production has started in the region, which will be an additional source of income for the villagers.

Total investment in the project will be 5.2 billion tenge. Its capacity will be 2,100 tons of finished products per year. It is planned that in addition to the local market, the products will be exported to Europe.

"Today, the government is taking unprecedented, large-scale measures to increase people's incomes and improve their well-being. Proof of this is the "Auyl Amanaty" project. Only in one direction of the project about 500 people intend to buy 18 thousand sheep. There are 1,4 mln sheep in the region as a whole. On average, 2-2.5 thousand tons of wool is produced annually. At the same time sales of wool was one of the problems in cattle breeding. Today is the day, when this issue has been solved. We strive to gradually solve all the problematic issues of agriculture", - emphasized the region's akim Yeraly Tugzhanov.

The first batch of products is expected to be released at the end of this year. The new enterprise will provide 25 permanent jobs in the region. In addition, it is planned to open raw material reception points in the districts of the region, which will also provide employment for the local population.
