Camel milk processing plant was opened in Almaty region

“Daulet-Beket” LLP plant for the production of dried camel milk with a daily capacity of 30 tons of finished powder was launched in Iliysk district of Almaty region. The cost of the project is 1 billion tenge. The export-oriented plant was opened on the basis of the only largest camel milk processing plant in Kazakhstan, World of NAN reports referring to the regional akimat.

As noted in the press service, the products will be supplied both to the domestic market and to Russia, China, Turkey, Germany and France.

"This is the largest agricultural enterprise with a 20-year history of development, whose success is directly related to the achievements of the 30th anniversary of Independence. The farm of this enterprise contains 5 thousand camels, a shubat therapy clinic operates on its basis, and now a processing plant has been opened. Thus, a full production cycle is ensured," said Bagdat Karasayev, akim of the Ili region, at the opening ceremony.

The company plans to recycle wool, opening a plant for the production of cosmetics.

As the director of the enterprise Sidyk Dauletov said, at first shubat was not in great demand, then there was an idea of production of dried camel milk, which made it possible to export the powdered shubat without loss of useful properties.

Today, the products of Daulet-Beket LLP are transported by air to Moscow, Beijing and Shanghai. In the near future it is planned to export to European Union countries and America. Income from export of ready production in next 2-3 years is planned to increase camels livestock up to 15 thousand.

Today, the farm has more than 5 thousand camels. Today the farm has established production of up to 5 tons of quality shubat per day, after opening a plant there the production of 1 ton of powdered milk per day and up to 30 tons per month became possible.

A special place is occupied by the shubat therapy farm with 100 places for the treatment of saumal and shubat. It accepts those who need to recover from complex surgeries, chemotherapy, coronavirus. More than 5 thousand Kazakh people have undergone camel milk therapy for 3 years of its functioning.

For the purpose of tasting shubat and camel meat there is one café in the city of Almaty. There are plans to build similar cafes on the highway connecting Iliy district and Taldykorgan. There are also projects on further expansion of assortment of kurt and cheeses made from camel milk. Opening of a plant for production of camel milk cream for rejuvenation and treatment of human skin is also included in the plan for next year. 

If now camel meat is packaged for sale in special bags, next year it is planned to realize the project on production of canned meat with addition of rice and buckwheat. Camel hair will not be left without attention. In the future, the entrepreneur is ready to consider the realization of a project on knitting clothes from camel's wool.
