Living in the countryside is not so dreamy after all

According to the Ministry of National Economy, almost half of Kazakhstan's villages have a very poor quality of life, lacking even 50% of the required social benefits, reports World of NAN.

Only 786 villages out of 6.3 thousand Kazakhstani villages have a high level of provision with the basic benefits of civilization - more than 80%. About 2.8 thousand are estimated as settlements with average level of provision: from 50% to 80%. The same number of villages have a very low quality of life, they do not have even 50% of the required social benefits.

Thus, the level of provision of settlements with centralized gas supply is on average only 32.5%, water disposal system - 50.7%, centralized heat supply - 48.2%. Provision with intracity and intra-settlement roads is 75.8%, road lighting - 44.8%. And the level of provision with pharmacy points in the country - on average 31.6%.

Due to the low quality of life, Kazakhstani people are literally fleeing from villages. This is reflected in the staff shortage in the agricultural sector. Of course, the state is trying to improve the quality of life in rural areas, but it is doing it so slowly that soon there will be no one left in the villages.
