They are dissatisfied with the receipt of the main share of subsidies by dairy farms. Farmers voiced their requests to increase subsidies in the NCE of Pavlodar region at a meeting of the Committee of the Agro-Industrial Complex under the Republican Chamber of Entrepreneurs, reports World of NAN.

In reply to a question of Gulzira Kazylova, Chairperson of the Committee on Agroindustrial Complex, Director of Agrofirm Akzhar-Ondiris LLP, on sufficiency of the amount to pay to agrarians, the representative replied that if there is a lack of funds by the experience of previous years a request will be made to allocate funds from the national budget.
According to the Chairman of the Committee of Agroindustrial Complex, there is an imbalance in the payment of subsidies for roughage between dairy and meat farms: the main part of payments from the state are received by dairy farms.
Agricultural producer Zhanat Ibrayev proposed to pay subsidies in accordance with the size of the minimum calculation index. Since the MCI is calculated when planning the budget based on the expected rate of inflation in the next year, with this approach it would favorably affect the farmers in the payment of subsidies. This, according to the agrarian, would be appropriate, since the amount of payments has not been increased for a long time.
Tolegen Asanbayev, Chairman of the Association of Horse Breeders of Pavlodar Region, asked to support horse breeding, since the amount of subsidies to representatives of this sphere, like goat farms, is insufficient.
As a result of the meeting, the Committee decided to send proposals to state authorities to increase payments for the purchase of cattle, stallions, also proposes to amend the current rules for subsidy payments in the agricultural sector in accordance with the current MCI at the time of application.
