728 crop production companies want to enter the Chinese market

Minister of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov said that currently nine companies exporting livestock products and 728 companies exporting crop products are waiting to be included in the register of importers of China, World of NAN reports.  

To date, Kazakhstan has signed protocols with China to export 27 types of products to the Chinese market, including 18 crop and nine livestock products. In general, the PRC register includes 1948 enterprises in crop production and 40 enterprises in livestock production.

In order to expand exports of livestock products to China, the possibility of agreeing veterinary requirements for exports to China of 10 more types of agricultural products: cattle hides, dried mare's milk, frozen poultry meat and poultry products, horse meat, by-products obtained from animal slaughter, meat products that have undergone high heat treatment, as well as chilled beef and mutton.
