Aidarbek Saparov left the Ministry of Agriculture to become Akim of North Kazakhstan region

Aidarbek Saparov became an Akim of the North Kazakhstan region. The appointment decree was signed by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, World of NAN reports with reference to Akorda.

Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov arrived in Petropavlovsk, where he took part in a meeting of deputies of maslikhats of all levels. There he read out to deputies the letter of the Head of the State on introduction of two candidates for the post of Akim of the region - Ruslan Anbayev and Aidarbek Saparov.

Following the results of voting of 153 deputies 118 voted for Saparov, 35 deputies voted for Anbayev. Previously, the post of regional akim was held by Kumar Aksakalov.

Saparov was born in 1966 in the village of Krasnoye, Bulayevsky District, North Kazakhstan Region. He graduated from the Omsk Agricultural Institute and the North Kazakhstan State University named after Kozybayev. His latest position was the first vice-minister of agriculture.

Among top management of Ministry of Agriculture Aidarbek Saparov was one of few who had agricultural education and worked in this system. Now the system is run by a master's degree in economics, a businessman, an economist, and an it-specialist.
