Minister of Trade instructed to release a large volume of vegetables on the market

According to Serik Zhumangarin, over the past week the growth rate of prices for the vegetable group slowed down, but did not stop, this indicates that not enough socially important goods were released to the market from the stabilization funds, reports World of NAN, referring to the department.

"I instruct akimats not to keep stocks in warehouses and release them to the market in a greater volume by increasing the number of retail outlets in which vegetables are sold," S. Zhumangarin appealed to the heads of akimats.

As Acting Chairman of the MTI Trade Committee Aidar Abildabekov announced during the meeting, today 56.2 thousand tons of vegetables from stocks were put into circulation. Of those, 18.4 thousand tons have already been sold: 4.9 thousand tons of onions, 2.8 thousand tons of cabbage, 7.0 thousand tons of potatoes and 3.6 thousand tons of carrots.

At the same time cost reduction was achieved only on carrots - 0.6%, buckwheat - 0.5%, sugar - 0.3%, sunflower oil and chicken meat - 0.2%.
