Today, due to the projected high harvest and accumulation of large volumes of grain in warehouses, there is a difficulty in transporting these goods. The problem was discussed at the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs "Atameken", World of NAN reports with reference to the NCE.
Despite great efforts to optimize transport flows, many enterprises are faced with delays and lack of infrastructure. According to the chairman of the ALE "Grain Union of Kazakhstan" Nurlan Ospanov, stations and elevators cannot cope with the increased volumes.
Today, KTZh is actively working to transport coal and unload transport networks. However, a high harvest coupled with large carryover stocks may lead to the risk that the grain will simply remain in warehouses.
Therefore, it is proposed to open new export routes, but for this it is necessary to introduce transport subsidies. The total amount of subsidies with a planned export volume of 1 million tons of wheat to Europe, North Africa and the Middle East is about 61 million dollars. Grain market participants also proposed conducting an inventory of loading points and using licensed elevators to streamline grain shipments. This would eliminate middlemen from the chain and ensure transparency of the process thanks to the grain receipt system.
