The export duty is in effect: sunflower oil has fallen in price by 24%

 According to the monitoring agency Energyprom.kz, at the end of March this year, retail prices for sunflower oil fell by 24.6%, World of NAN reports.

At the same time, the country's production of the product is increasing. Thus, in the first quarter of the current year, 194.4 thousand tons of vegetable oil were produced - 13.4% more than a year earlier.

Regionally, the largest volume of output traditionally fell on the East Kazakhstan region: 80.1 thousand tons, plus 26.3% per year. The second and third lines are occupied by Abay (35.2 thousand tons) and Akmola (20.7 thousand tons) regions.

70.3% of the total production of vegetable oil came from unrefined sunflower oil: over three months, production increased by 33.7%, to 136.6 thousand tons. Refined sunflower oil produced 33.6 thousand tons, plus 22.3%.

At the same time, the production of rapeseed (by 56.8%, to 9.6 thousand tons), safflower (by 48.4%, to 755 tons) and soybean (by 6.5%, to 6.4 thousand tons) decreased. oils

Let us remind you that the export duty on sunflower was introduced to support domestic producers, who promised to reduce prices. But it is worth considering that price pressure is also exerted by Russian products.
