Farmers: the government does not fulfill the President's instruction

A representative of the Association of Agricultural Producers of Kostanai Region, Svetlana Mikhailenko, noted that the reduction of subsidies for imported machinery directly affects productivity, World of NAN reports with reference to the NCE.

Also, the untimeliness of state support, imperfection of the subsidy system itself, in particular, changes in the rules have a special impact on the development. Farmers also resent the suggestion of diversification of production.

They wonder whether the existing processing system is ready to accept oilseeds, legumes and other crops. Are the elevators and railroads ready?

"The question arises: what is of primary importance - to raise productivity in the industry, or to raise agricultural machinery at the expense of the agro-industrial complex? We want to see from the Ministry of Agriculture clear guidelines on the need for products, what to sow, a plan of action, with which the increase in productivity can be traced. At the moment there are slogans, but no instruments for work", - said Svetlana Mikhailenko.

Farmers ask to bring in line the tasks set by the President of the country, who indicated that the lack of investment leads to wear and tear of agricultural machinery, low yields, low labor productivity.

"In fact, based on the new amendments to the rules, we see that state support for productive machinery of imported production has been reduced," the agrarian added.
