Elon Musk to create unique tool for agriculture

Elon Musk has promised to provide space-based data on countries' actual agricultural production, World of NAN reports citing International Business Times.

Elon Musk's SpaceX and Larry Ellison's Oracle are teaming up to develop an agriculture-focused artificial intelligence tool that will be useful for planning and forecasting agricultural production.

This AI-based tool will create detailed agricultural maps that will allow countries to visualize and track agricultural activities, such as what each country is growing.

In addition, the tool could play a key role in helping farmers increase yields by optimizing field analysis of water and nitrogen content, according to Oracle's executive chairman.

SpaceX has already partnered with agricultural equipment maker John Deere to bring Starlink satellite internet to farms this year, allowing them to use Deere's suite of agricultural technologies.

Deere Chief Technology Officer Jahmy Hindman emphasized the importance of Starlink connectivity for farmers to maximize operational efficiency.
