Iranian fruits and vegetables will flood Kazakhstan

The Eurasian Economic Commission is developing the project "Eurasian Agro Express" with the Iranian side, reports World of NAN with reference to the EEC.

The project involves the supply of EAEU products to Iran, as well as the organization of large-scale transportation of Iranian fruits and vegetables to the market of the Union. Relevant goods are present on the shelves of stores today. However, with the involvement of the Eurasian Agroexpress, agricultural products will be delivered more quickly, with better quality and fewer intermediaries.

"We propose interaction with a large Iranian holding, which can either directly enter the project or act as a "single window" to organize the supply of your agricultural producers to Iran and export our products in the opposite direction," suggested First Deputy Minister of Agricultural Jihad of the Islamic Republic of Iran Alireza Peyman-Pak.

At the same time, the commission proposes to solve the issues of mutual settlements, veterinary and phytosanitary control and transit through Iran towards the Persian Gulf countries and India.
