What farming projects will be launched in Akmola region.

In the region, 25 projects in the agriculture sector are scheduled to be launched in 2024, with farmers in the region focusing on livestock farming, reports World of NAN.

Kamyshenka LLP in the Astrakhan district will build a dairy farm for 1,200 heads and set up irrigation on 869 hectares for fodder crops. Another 300 hectares for fodder irrigation will be developed by Zelenoye-1 LLP.

In Atbasar district, Bidai Agro Trade LLP will build a grain storage facility for 2,000 tonnes for 600 million tenge.

Zhuravlevka-1 LLP will produce liquid fertilisers in Bulandyn district. The project capacity is 3,000 tonnes per year, with investments of 600 million tenge.

Two meat farms for 700 and 120 heads will be launched in Korgalzhinsky district.

In Akkol district a small granary for 100 tonnes will be built. Also a dairy farm for 50 heads will be launched in Burabai district.

Production of mixed fodder will be launched in Birzhan Sal district, with a capacity of 720 tonnes per year. Also, two meat farms for 600 and 1000 heads will be launched in the district.

Korzhinkol-A LLP will invest 1.5 billion tenge in Egindykol district to launch a 500-head dairy farm.

In Yereymentau district, safflower and potato cultivation will be launched, with a capacity of 3,800 tonnes. Also AGRO GREEN CONSORTIUM LLP will set up irrigation on 1000 hectares for fodder and monoculture.

Novo-Prirechnoye LLP in Yesil district will launch a project on primary processing and storage of grain for 1.5 billion tenge. A 400-head meat farm will be launched in the same district. The farm "Sayan" in Zharkain district will set up irrigation on 314 hectares for fodder.

Three projects will be launched in Sandyktau district: a dairy farm for 100 heads, processing of livestock products - 20 tons per year, and irrigation for vegetables on 400 hectares.

In Kokshetau two production facilities for processing of crop products will be launched. One will produce cereals and the other mixed fodder.

Two meat processing projects will be opened in Kosshi. The capacity of one is 3,000 tons per year and the other is only 15 tons per year.
