What agricultural projects will be launched in Turkestan region?

The region has huge plans for the current year, it is planned to launch 48 projects with a total cost of 87.96 billion tenge, reports World of NAN with reference to the Akimat.

Thus, the region plans to commission three poultry farms of meat direction with a total annual capacity of 12,655 tons. About 5.4 billion tenge will be invested in the enterprises.

Eight fruit and vegetable warehouses with annual capacity of 20,850 tons will be built for 8.259 billion.

Five dairy farms with a total capacity of 2,200 heads will be launched. 11.5 billion tenge will be invested in the projects.

Five farmers will set up sprinkler irrigation on 7,629 hectares. About 9.893 billion tenge will be spent for this purpose. Drip irrigation will also be launched on 1,270 hectares, four investors will invest 2.940 billion tenge.

They plan to open two greenhouse projects for 5.3 billion tenge with an annual capacity of 4,341 tons.

In cattle breeding they plan to open 6 fattening grounds with annual capacity of 142,600 cattle.

Investors will invest about 25.910 billion tenge in the projects. They will also launch three slaughterhouses with housing, annual capacity - 50,050 heads of cattle, investments - 2.4 billion tenge.

It is planned to launch a livestock exchange with an annual capacity of 12,000 heads of cattle, investment of 4 billion tenge. Three feed mills will be built at a cost of 3.8 billion tenge with an annual capacity of 59,880 tons. A cattle and sheep waste processing plant with an annual capacity of 2,000 tons will be launched for 5.5 billion tenge.

For 1.5 billion tenge they will launch one fishery project with an annual capacity of 130 tons.

For 5.55 billion tenge, an entrepreneur plans to launch a cotton oil plant with an annual capacity of 3,000 tons. Also, one investor will engage in processing of Shiite cotton, the project is estimated at 400 mln tenge.
