Young Karaganda biotechnologists have developed a new dairy product made from cottage cheese. Many producers are interested in the young men's development. The company "Natige Sut Fabrikasy" declared readiness to produce a new product at their factories, World of NAN reports referring to the Office of the Akim of Karaganda Region.
"Our students, under the guidance of teachers, have developed a new product based on cottage cheese - Milk crusty (milk with a crispy crust). It is thin, crispy plates with a natural flavor and shades of flavor corresponding to the filler. The product is natural, dietary, and healthy. It can be used as baby food," commented Altynaray Takibayeva, head of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technology at KarTU.
The recipe and production technology of the product were developed on the basis of NSC "Biotechnology". The specialists of LLP "Natige Sut Fabrikasy" had time to visit the university. They well appreciated the development. As a result the management of the enterprise approved the know-how. It was decided to begin production of Milk crusty for sale.
As it turned out, this was not the first cooperation between scientists and manufacturers. Limes" biolimonade, a drink based on milk whey with honey and lemon juice, is already on the market. Its recipe was also developed at the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technology at KarTU.
