Vegetable storage and fodder plant under construction in Zhambyl Region

Akim of Zhambyl Region B. Saparbayev paid a working visit to Bayzak and Zhambyl districts, where he familiarized himself with the implementation of a number of socially important facilities, the construction of which will be completed by the end of this year, World of NAN reports referring to the press service of the regional Akim.

The cost of the project is 500 million tenge. This was reported by Zhalil Abbosov, head of the partnership. Start-up of a vegetable storehouse equipped with modern technologies and a refrigerator is expected in September of this year, and a canning shop in the first half of next year.

The head of the region noted that the vegetable storage facility will allow to store products for sale in the off-season, in addition, it will have a beneficial effect on price stabilization. And after the launch of the shop 30-40 people from among the locals will be provided with a permanent job. Today the Department of Agriculture is collecting the necessary documents to receive the subsidy. According to the information of the akimat, at the moment on the territory of Bayzak district operates 16 vegetable storage facilities with a total capacity of up to 34 thousand tons.

Then Berdibek Saparbaev got acquainted with the work of Zhambyl branch of JSC "Alel Agro". The company has received a loan under the program "Economy of simple things". This year, plans to produce 3.5 thousand tons of poultry meat. By 2024, the annual capacity of the enterprise is expected to be up to 44 thousand tons.

"A total of five poultry factories are planned for construction. The works on the first factory are fully completed, at the moment we have managed to place 300 thousand chickens in 12 complexes. Another 12 complexes at the second factory will be finished by October. We will build three more factories in the next three years. Each of them will have 24 complexes," Askar Baimukhanbetov, head of the production and technical department, said. Our own feed mill and slaughterhouse will be launched by the end of this year. Now the construction works are in progress.
