Floods: Akimats will pay compensation for fallen livestock

At the moment, local executive bodies are counting the number of fallen animals during floods, World of NAN reports with reference to the Ministry of Agriculture.

In order to prevent livestock deaths in the flooded regions, work has been organized to move livestock to safe grazing areas. Thus, according to operational data, about 30 thousand heads of farm animals have been moved to a safe distance.

At the same time, in connection with the remaining danger and expected second wave of floods, local executive bodies are working on informing the population and taking measures for early removal of livestock from high-risk areas.

In case of livestock deaths under the emergency regime as a result of floods, compensation will be provided at the expense of local budgets, as well as other sources.

In case of shortage of fodder for the livestock driven away from flooded areas JSC " NC "Prodkorporatsiya" is able to organize the supply of fodder at the request of farmers on the terms of deferred payments. For this purpose, it is necessary to apply to the regional headquarters.
