Floods have washed away anthrax burial grounds

Due to floods, anthrax burial sites and cattle burial grounds have been flooded, World of NAN reports citing the Ministry of Agriculture.

At the same time, officials say that the epizootic situation in these places is stable.

Recall, after death from anthrax, the animal is utilized by burning, and the ashes are buried with the creation of a concrete sarcophagus, around which disinfectants are laid.

The burials are sealed, and annual monitoring for spores at these sites has so far revealed no cases of spores coming to the surface.

Once the water has receded from the flooded areas, soil samples will also be taken from these burial sites. For this purpose, the relevant specialists have already traveled to these regions and are taking samples.
