Almost 2.5 thousand cattle were given to Aktobe villagers

The region continues active implementation of "Auyl Amanaty" project. This is a comprehensive project aimed at improving the welfare of rural residents, infrastructure development of rural areas, improving the quality of education and health, reports World of NAN.

Within the first direction, rural residents are granted soft loans secured by rural properties to develop agricultural production on the basis of private farms, setting up product processing and equipping cooperatives.

In addition, at the initiative of the regional Akim Yeraly Tugzhanov, the project introduced commodity crediting, in which large agricultural enterprises provide villagers with large and small horned livestock and horses.

For today about 2,5 thousand cattle have already been given to 192 families living in different settlements of the region. The loan will be repaid over several years by the resulting offspring.  For example, for one cow three calves have to be returned in five years. If this condition is met, the commodity loan will be repaid. This is a good support for the development of private farming, opening up new sources of income for the family. In order to exclude different risks, the cattle is insured during the transfer and a contract is signed.

In total, 6,000 heads of mainly pedigree cattle distinguished by high productivity will be transferred to the participants of "Auyl Amanaty" project as a commodity loan.
