In Akmola region, during the recalculation of the number of farm animals revealed a shortage of 438 thousand hectares of pastures, reports World of NAN, referring to LS.
The regional Akimat announced plans to expand the boundaries of settlements by 17.8 thousand hectares, of which 3.5 thousand hectares will be allocated for grazing. Also from the lands returned last year 89.4 thousand hectares will be given for pastures.
In 2022, authorities expanded the boundaries of settlements by 78.6 thousand hectares, and 4.1 thousand hectares of them were assigned to rural districts.
To recall, 15 of the 17 regions have a deficit of pastures for grazing cattle of private farms, including Almaty, Turkestan, Kyzylorda and Atyrau regions.
