The President touched upon the topic of artificial intelligence in food security

The head of state in his speech at the Boao Forum for Asia, touched upon the situation with food security in the world and Central Asia, cooperation with China in the field of artificial intelligence, World of NAN reports citing Akorda.

"Kazakhstan, which is the leading wheat producer in Central Asia, intends to use its agricultural potential to ensure global food stability. With joint efforts, we should strengthen international cooperation by creating targeted programs, joint agro-innovation centers and transfer of innovative technologies," the president suggested.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also pointed to the strategic importance of expanding transit and transportation cooperation between Asian countries.

"It is extremely important to increase our efforts to develop both existing and new transportation routes. These include the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route, or the so-called "Middle Corridor", which most effectively ensures the security of supply chains between Asia and Europe. Last year, the volume of cargo traffic along this route doubled to 3 million tons. In the coming years, we expect this figure to reach 10 million tons. At the same time, Kazakhstan is ready to cooperate with its neighbors in the development of the North-South corridor," the head of state said.

The President of Kazakhstan considers it important to strengthen technological cooperation, especially in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) in order to ensure sustainable growth of the world economy. In this context, he supported the "Global Initiative on Artificial Intelligence Management" put forward by China.

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stated Kazakhstan's interest in cooperation with leading Asian technology giants in order to realize joint innovative IT projects.
