Trade center for Kazakhstani agricultural products will open in China

In March 2024, Kazakhstan and China signed an agreement on the creation of a multifunctional center ‘Central Asia - Jiangsu’, World of NAN reports with reference to the Ministry of Trade.

The parties agreed to cooperate in the implementation of a project to build a trade center in the Chinese province of Jiangsu, where Kazakhstani products will be offered for sale, and in the future, goods from Central Asian countries.

The area of the trade pavilion will be 2 thousand square meters, most of which will be allocated for the exhibition of Kazakhstani goods.

According to the idea of the developers, the ground floor of the trade complex will be introductory, here Chinese visitors will be able to get an idea of Kazakhstan, our culture and peculiarities. On the first floor it is proposed to exhibit domestic goods in various categories: agricultural products, industrial goods, etc. The remaining floors will house offices of Kazakhstani companies.

‘We invite Kazakhstani businesses to actively exhibit their products at the Central Asia-Jiangsu site to show the export potential of domestic goods. At the same time, the Chinese side provides the exclusive right of QazTrade to place Kazakhstani products by quota,’ Commerce Minister Arman Shakkaliev addressed the commodity producers.

The official opening of the Central Asia-Jiangsu Trade Centre in Nanjing is scheduled for September.
