A 500 kW biogas plant is planned to be built in Esil district of Akmola region. The raw material for production will be animal waste, World of NAN reports with reference to the NCE.
To date, a contract of intent to cooperate between "Altyn Dala Goldex" LLP and the largest German company "Biogas Servise Tarmstedt Gmbh", which builds such plants not only in European countries, but also in South America, has been signed.
The advantage of biogas production is minimizing the stock of animal waste, optimizing its use as a valuable fertilizer, and reducing the environmental impact by limiting greenhouse gas emissions. The waste produced after the gas plant in the form of peat will be delivered to the fields, which will make it possible to feed the lands requiring organics.
An appropriate land plot has already been allocated in the territory of Esil district, where it is planned to carry out preparatory construction works for further installation and commissioning of the facility in the near future. Completion of construction is planned for the end of next year. The planned investment volume is over 3 million euros.
