Kostanai region will invest 112 billion tenge in processing

The Kostanai region intends to increase the volume of processed products, World of NAN reports with reference to the regional Akimat.

The region produces about 5 million tons of wheat annually, which is a quarter of the country's total grain volume. About 45% of this is used for processing.

One of the largest flour mills in the region is Aruana-2010 LLP. The company decided to expand and build a new mill complex, which will increase the total production capacity of the plant to 175 thousand tons per year. The investment in the construction of the new project amounts to 3 billion tenge.

This project will increase the volume of production and export of products, which will increase the share of processing in the region, as well as the amount of tax revenues to the budget by more than 200 million tenge per year.

According to Akim of the region K. Aksakalov, in the next 3 years there are plans to invest more than 112 billion tenge in the processing of agricultural products for the implementation of 15 projects.
