In Zhetysu, government agencies have found ways to solve the problems of corn growers

According to Nurdaulet Kenenbayev, head of the regional department of agriculture, the issue of agrarians has moved forward, reports World of NAN with reference to the region's akimat.

"Negotiations with procurement companies conducted in a prompt manner have given their first results. From Monday - January 8, 2024, the company "Іrgetas Trade" will start accepting corn. At moisture content of 14% the price will be 55,000 tenge per ton, at moisture content of 14-20% - 41,500 tenge", - informed N. Kenenbayev.

At the same time, the daily volume of acceptance will be 500 tons. Agrarians will be able to hand over their products at the procurement point of the plant "Uyz May Industry", located in the village Balpyk bi of Koksu district.

Recall that corn growers in the current season faced the problem of storage and marketing of their products, as well as low purchase price. All this led to the fact that in many farms the harvest remained unharvested in the fields due to the lack of storage facilities.
