A grain processing complex will be opened in Arkalyk

At the briefing at Central Communications Service the akim of Kostanay region Arkhimed Mukhambetov spoke about a project on construction of a grain processing complex, World of NAN reports referring to "Kazinform".

"Continuing a direction of agro-industrial complex, I can't but mention a project in Arkalyk, where "Aluminstroy" LLP is building a grain processing complex, which includes grain elevator and feed mill.  Arkalyk Aidar" LLP has built a stock-breeding complex consisting of a feeding ground for 5 thousand animals and a breeding center for 2.5 thousand animals, "- said Arkimed Mukhambetov.

The head of the region explained that the elevator has already been launched, the feed mill is planned to be put into operation by the end of the year. Implementation of the project will provide a closed cycle of meat processing in Arkalyk (including fattening area and meat processing complex LLP Torgai Et).

Earlier it was reported that reconstruction and modernization of Komsomolskaya poultry farm with capacity of 20 thousand tons of poultry meat a year (LLP "PoultryAgro", 5,6 billion tenge, 260 jobs) was finished in Kostanay region in agricultural sector. Construction of meat processing complex with annual capacity 20 thousand tons of meat processing is nearing completion. It is planned to reduce import of meat products (BEEFEXPORTGROUP LLP, 7,2 billion tenge, 184 working places, Kostanay). Terra Partnership built a meat processing complex with a capacity of 7.7 thousand tons of meat at a cost of 900 million tenge. Due to implementation of these projects it is expected to activate cooperation of peasant and subsidiary farms with large processors of the region.
