Over 8 thousand tons of products sold at agricultural fairs in Nur Sultan

This year, 50 regional and city agricultural fairs were held in the capital, where 8420 tons of products were sold, the official website of the akimat of Nur-Sultan city report.

As of October 20, 50 agricultural fairs were held in Nur-Sultan in total, 8420 tons of products worth a total of 4.5 billion tenge were sold. Today, city agricultural fairs are held at the following addresses: Str. Sauran 7, at the intersection of Syganak and Ch. Aitmatov Streets, as well as at a set near the «Kazakhstan» Sports Complex.

A wide range of agricultural products from commodity producers and individual entrepreneurs of the capital and regions of the republic are presented at fairs.

The purpose of the fairs is the step-by-step accessibility of the population, the creation of competition for nearby supermarkets, convenience stores, as well as the stabilization of prices for socially significant food products, support for domestic agricultural producers.

Traditionally, prices for socially significant food products are lower than market prices by 10-15%.
